Carrie & I have been married Since 1987.  Carrie is an elementary school teacher and I am a surveyor in the construction industry. We bought a home on En Rd in 1989, and we raised our 3 kids in the home you see when you travel down the driveway.  Before kids, Carrie and I would go camping at a few local state parks and having kids never slowed us down; we just dragged them along.

   In 1999 we made our first road trip out west to Yellowstone N.P. and it was amazing.  We were hooked. Every year after that we would hit the road to another National Park across the country.  

   In 2008 we purchased a cabin in Hocking Hills near Logan, Ohio.  We shared the cabin as a vacation rental for 11 years with close to 1,000 guests.

   Also in 2008, we made our first trip overseas to Germany, France, and Switzerland. Our appetite for travel (and good food) continued to grow!  Over the next 11 years we went back to Europe three times, made it to New Zealand, spent time in Canada, Bermuda, and various Caribbean islands. Of course, our U.S. National Parks continue to call our names even today.  

   As empty nesters, we still travel across the U.S. with friends and family and sometimes just the two of us.  It never gets old.  There is just too much of this beautiful country to explore!
